Established in 1951, Denhams is a renowned independent jewellers specialising in diamonds, gold and silver. We pride ourselves on our expertise and knowledge and we are committed to the service we offer. It is owned by experienced gemologist Sarah Stamp who prides herself on sourcing the very best jewellery for customers.

Our History

1951 David Zara opened Denhams the jewellers on Belvoir Street in Leicester city centre.

1990 David Zara retired; his daughter Jane and husband Jimmy Jackson took over the business.

1989 Sarah Stamp joined the business aged just 15 and went on to train as a fully qualified gemologist.

2000 Sarah becomes a partner in the business after Jane Jackson retires.

2009 Jimmy Jackson retired leading to Sarah Stamp taking full ownership of Denhams the jewellers.

2013 Sarah opened a second Denhams shop in Market Harborough.

November 2014 Denhams the Jewellers opens its third shop in Stamford, Lincolnshire.

2015 Melton Mowbray opened in December. 

Today we now offer:

• Second hand Jewellery sold on behalf of customers.
